Sustainable and circular manufacturing of a new generation of barrier for air and noise pollution mitigation


Pioneering Circular Innovation

The main objective of CIRCLEAR project is to develop a unique sustainable and circular economy oriented product that embeds noise and air pollution reduction properties, that is easy to deploy and that even at the end of its life can be reused for at least 90% of the components.

Our Objectives

  • Integrate industrialised products RUCONBAR Noise Barrier and Air Pollution Abatement technology APA

  • Redesign of the RUCONBAR manufacturing process in order to achieve more sustainable manufacturing

  • Optimize the production process of the integrated RUCONBAR - APA solution to minimize material use and reduce carbon-intensive materials

  • Enhance the production line to integrate the two abatement systems and achieve sustainable and circular economy compliance

  • Testing activities to provide the necessary information and documentation for the certification requirements
